The Rookie is an American police procedural criminal offense drama television series created for ABC past Alexi Hawley. The series follows John Nolan, a forty year old newly divorced man from Pennsylvania, who, afterward inadvertently helping constabulary officers during a bank robbery, moves to Los Angeles to pursue a new career as a police officer in the Los Angeles Police force Section (LAPD).
